Advanced Ambulance dba Forsyth County EMS was awarded the Forsyth
County contract to provide Emergency Medical Services on January 1, 2008.
We are proud to serve in this capacity.
Advanced Ambulance began serving Forsyth County in 1992, providing
non-emergency transport and serving as back up for emergency services and
was awarded the county emergency services contact originally on January 1,
1994.
Most of our employees reside in Forsyth County and care very much for their
community. All are also either Georgia Certified or Nationally Registered
Paramedics and EMT-I's.
Forsyth County EMS provides Emergency Medical Services including
non-emergency and critical care transport to the citizens and visitors of Forsyth
County Georgia.
We currently have 6 emergency med units stationed in strategic locations
throughout the county, as well as one 24 hour and one 12 hour
non-emergency unit which provide 911 backup when needed.
Each shift has a supervisor on duty 24 hours to insure that the highest
standards of care are always provided.
All of our emergency units are equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring and
diagnostic equipment, including 12 lead EKG's, pulse oximetry and end-title
CO2 monitoring.
